![]() East Lake Playground Build Day Tuesday, November 14 - 7:45 am - 3 pm Our East Lake Corps and Community Center is getting a brand new playground and obstacle course! This playground was provided generously by one of our community partners. We will have the playground in place on November 14, along with several healthy living initiatives for our kids to learn to live a healthy and active lifestyle. We haven't had a playground at this center for a long time, so we are thrilled to bring a safe and fun place for kids in the community to play and enjoy being outside. There's one catch though - our community members (18 years or older) have to help build the playground (no experience necessary). There will be several volunteers from the organization giving us the playground, but we need 100 more volunteers to help out on build day and 30 volunteers for both prep days. The information and times are below. Please let me know if you would like to come and volunteer for this fun and exciting opportunity!
