The Salvation Army Family Thrift Store of Ft. Oglethorpe Hosts Ribbon Cutting Celebrating Their Expansion!
Ft. Oglethorpe, GA – After one year, The Salvation Army Family Thrift Store located at 1809 Battlefield Parkway in the BI-LO Plaza in Ft. Oglethorpe is expanding in order to make more furniture and clothing available to the community.
This Saturday, March 13, 2010, at 11:00 AM, the Mayor of Ft. Oglethorpe, Mr. Ronnie Cobb, will be joined by Salvation Army Advisory Board members Jack Samples, Leonard Fant, and Bill McCamy for the ribbon cutting ceremony of this new addition of the store.
An Open House is scheduled 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM for the community to come and celebrate this expansion. Special Door Buster sales will be offered as a customer appreciation.
All are encouraged to show their support by joining us this Saturday! Material donations are also welcomed and can be brought to any of the local Family Thrift Stores.
