Two Days Left Of Silver Bells and Red Kettles – The Salvation Army Still Hoping To Reach Its Goal!
Chattanooga, TN – Christmas is rapidly approaching and The Salvation Army is extremely concerned that it is still far from its fundraising goal of $385,000.00. "With two days left of our Red Kettle Campaign, we are praying we raise the remaining $45,896.87 in order to meet our goal so we can continue meeting the overwhelming needs of our community," says Major Algerome Newsome, The Salvation Army Area Commander.
To date The Salvation Army has raised $339,103.13. Following is where the money has been collected:
$83,603.43 in Hixson and North Chattanooga,
$59,706.49 in North Georgia,
$102,541.08 in East Brainerd and Ooltewah, and
$93,252.13 raised in Cleveland.
Monetary donations are still needed to assist with this year's increase in Christmas needs. Donations can be made by visiting one of the Red Kettles around town, by visiting www.csarmy.org, by calling 1-800-Sal-Army or can be mailed to 822 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37403.
