Federal Bureau of Prisons

The Salvation Army in Chattanooga contracts with the Federal Bureau of Prisons to operate a Comprehensive Sanction Center, or residential community center, to assist federal offenders as they near the day of return to their families and greater community.

The Salvation Army provides case management, an employment specialist and life skill classes in a safe, secure environment that ensures accountability at all times and stresses individual responsibility. A work release program teaches the importance of employment obligations while on the job in the local community. The residents are also provided an opportunity to attend morning devotions, Bible studies and Sunday worship services.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons Program administered by The Salvation Army has proven to give offenders hope for a productive future and supports them in choosing a positive, crime-free lifestyle.
