Salvation Army of Greater Chattanooga Celebrates the Success of its 2019 Doing the Most Good Fundraising Banquet

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – August 28, 2019 – On Thursday, August 22, at 6:00 PM, at the Chattanooga Convention Center, The Salvation Army of Greater Chattanooga welcomed approximately 400 guests to its 2019 Doing the Most Good Fundraising Banquet. The guests heard stories from behind the shield as Sunny 92.3’s morning host and NewsChannel 9's This n That host, James Howard, interviewed individuals whose lives are completely changed thanks to The Salvation Army ministries. Guests were also blessed by the Voices of Lee as the close of the evening.

“This year’s banquet was an amazing success thanks to our donors and staff,” states Major Mark Smith, Salvation Army Area Commander. “Our goal for the event was $100,000.00 and to date, we have raised $96,488.00. We are hopeful more donations will trickle in to get us to the goal!”
