Donation Scheduler/Warehouse Worker-NE_Warehouse-410
Answers phone calls from donors and schedules pick-up of donated items; answers questions regarding The Salvation Army operations; receives, sorts, prices and prepares donated items for display in the Family Store; determines suitability and pricing of items based on established standards; assists in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the Warehouse area.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Program Aide -NE_Corps Program-301
Assists in facilitating and monitoring assigned recreational activities of the program; supervises and provides homework tutoring; transports patrons to and from the program &events; assists in maintaining facilities, equipment, and grounds.
Assists store customers in donating, selecting, and purchasing store items; operates and maintains a cash register; responds to customers’ questions; maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of the store displays; ensures the security of store items and the cash register; receives, sorts, prices and prepares donated items for display in the store; determines suitability and pricing of items based on established standards; supervises and participates in unloading trucks and ensures that all unloaded items are processed and placed in the warehouse in accordance with established policies and procedures; signs out the forklift, warehouse, and truck keys.
Correctional Duty Officer
Maintains custody, control and accountability of the high risk population of Bureau of Prisons (BOP) Federal inmates assigned to the Residential Reentry Center (RRC). The primary duty is to supervise, observe, report and record inappropriate behavior, to generate and maintain relevant records, to ensure the safety of staff, inmates and the community through established accountability procedures for inmates housed both in the RRC as well as for inmates on Home Detention.
Warehouse Worker/Truck Helper-NE_Thrift Store Department-401
Assists in picking-up donations by riding in a Salvation Army truck and lifting, carrying, and/or hauling donations into the truck and unloading the same at the warehouse; assists in navigating for the Truck Driver; ensures the accountability, security, and safety of the donations when in route; assists in maintaining the vehicle in proper working order and in compliance with established standards; supervises and participates in unloading trucks and ensures that all unloaded items are processed and placed in the warehouse in accordance with established policies and procedures; signs out the forklift, warehouse, and truck keys.
Cleans and maintains the buildings and grounds to ensure the neatness and cleanliness of the same on a daily basis.
Truck Driver/Warehouse Worker-NE_ Thrift Store 401
Assists Truck Drive in transporting Salvation Army trucks to scheduled route to pick-up donations and/or deliver merchandise to customers; operates the truck in compliance with established Salvation Army standards and state driving regulations: lifts, carries, loads and unloads a variety of donations including furniture, appliances, clothing, etc.; ensures the safety, security, and accountability of the vehicle and donations at all times; assists in performing work in the thrift store and warehouse. Assist in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
